About Us
Gallery History
In 2005, company founder and CEO Jack Richeson realized his lifelong dream of creating a resource for artists to exhibit artwork, gain inspiration and further their artistic education. Richeson School of Art & Gallery features over 700 original works of art composed of the Richeson Permanent Collection, regional and local artwork, and two rotating exhibit spaces. Here, world-renowned artists' work hangs alongside up-and-coming artists’ work, creating a beautiful harmony. With over 500 works in the Richeson Collection, visitors may enjoy works by Stephen Quiller, Zoltan Szabo, Ramon Kelly, Richard Schmidt, Urania Christy Tarbet, Erica Norelius and many more.
Art School
We are proud to utilize locally and nationally-known artists to teach a variety of art mediums in our on-site studio. The studio functions as an educational classroom, life drawing session studio and local meeting space for artists to work during our open studio times. We also offer the space to be used for meeting and business receptions.
Richeson75
Richeson School of Art & Gallery annually hosts four Richeson75 International Competitions. Artists from all over the world submit their pieces. Jurors choose 75 works to form the show and to be eligible for the $5,000 cash Best in Show award. Selected works of art are featured in the beautiful hardcover, collector’s exhibit book and in our online gallery. Two competitions per year are in-gallery shows, and two are available for online viewing. More information on our contests can be found here.
