Casein 2020 is a brand new kind of art competition. Competitors had to pre-register for an artwork entry and to receive a casein painting kit. Casein is a unique medium that we would love to see regain popularity. Over 500 artists registered to participate, and we were astounded by the quality of the artwork produced. We hope that you have as much fun getting to know this unusual paint as we have in producing it! Long live Casein!
Casein 2020 was juried by the world-renown artist and workshop teacher, Stephen Quiller. Stephen Quiller has been working in various water-media for over 50 years, frequently focusing on casein or incorporating it in mixed media works. We thank Steve for being willing to jury such an amazing show!
