Join Chris Behrs in the Richeson studio for a day of painting the skies with pastels. Fascinated with clouds his whole life, Chris has mastered the art of capturing the beauty of the skies in his paintings. Whether they are lumbering giants, wispy and feathered, or catching the incredible colors of a sunset, clouds can play an important role in any outdoor painting. In this workshop, students will explore the many facets and varied qualities of clouds. Join Chris as he leads you through his approach and the steps in his process for painting clouds. All materials included. There will be a break for lunch.
Chris Behrs is an award-winning artist and member of the Pastel Society of America. An art teacher in Cedarburg Wisconsin, he has been president and is currently a signature member of the Wisconsin Pastel Artists.
