Learn how to use the cold wax medium to create beautiful intuitive works of art in this class taught by award-winning Green Bay artist Jane Hostetler. Hostetler will lead students as they harness the creative potential of this engaging medium. Using color theory, design principles, unique techniques, and some intuition, students will scratch, scrape, and layer their way to beautiful abstract works of art. All supplies included.
Jane Constable Hostetler’s professional history is rooted in design. Beginning with a BFA in Design, she spent the first part of her career in graphic design. Later, she chose to teach while developing her studio work, which led to a decision to earn a Master of Arts Degree in visual studies. At present, she teaches various studio art courses in the Green Bay and the Fox Valley area. Her studio is based in Green Bay Wisconsin where she strives to produce an ongoing variety of abstract works.
