Join Stephen Wysocki as he guides students through creating the painting Lake Superior Glow in oil paint. Students will explore the process of painting with oils through studying color mixing, paint application, and values, without the stress of determining the painting composition. Most students will finish the painting by the end of class.
This class includes all supplies. There will be a break for lunch.
A seasoned artist, Stephen Wysocki utilizes the bold application of color to convey movement and excitement in his pieces. “I am always looking to create an atmosphere in my work. I believe color can stand alone to convey a mood in a piece of work. I like to explore an image by playing with the many warm and cool tones.”
