Long Stitch Book Binding – One to Give & One for Me!

Instructor: Emily Runnerstrom
Date: Wednesday, December 4th
Time: 12P-4P
Fee: $75
Level: Beginner +

There is something so special about handbound books that once you make one, you won’t want to give it as a gift – which is why in this class students will make TWO long stitch books. One to keep and one to give as a gift!

Books bound using the long stitch binding technique are not only beautiful but sturdy and open flat, making them excellent for use as sketchbooks. Book artist and Richeson Gallery Manager, Emily Runnerstrom will teach students this book binding technique and students will leave class with two finished books – perfect for gifts. Or to keep. We won’t judge.

All supplies are included in the class fees. Students will choose either leather or wool felt for the cover material. Vegan options are available for an additional $10 charge.

Online registrations close 24 hours prior to the start of class. However, registrations are possible via phone or in person up to the day of class. Contact the Gallery directly at (920)560-3777 to see if there are spaces available or to be placed on the waiting list.
