Sorry, this class is full.
In the vast range of beauty that nature has provided none compares to the eloquence and beauty found in the flower. Flowers captivate and capture all of our senses and keep us longing for their divinely inspired musings. In approaching the flower from the perspective of the artist we look to preserve the beauty of the flower in oil paints. Students in this class will learn to paint flowers from life. Learning the intricacy and rhythms that flowers provide each student will create their own floral painting. Topics covered will include a review of working with oil paint, deciding on a composition, how to begin and the basics of color mixing.
