In this class, students will explore techniques to improve their portraiture skills using pencil. With a focus on learning proportions and anatomy, students will draw from a live model and learn various techniques including masking and smudging. The important skills taught in this class will help students improve their sketching confidence and future portraiture efforts.
Will Dickinson was educated at the University of Pennsylvania College of Arts and Sciences and the Glasgow School of Art majoring in Fine Arts and Anthropology. Subsequently, he studied figurative drawing in Philadelphia. His art was featured at various group shows and solo exhibitions in New York City, Washington D.C., and Florence, Assisi (Italy).
