*Sorry, this class is full.*

June 13, 10a – 3:30p

Instructor:  Nathan Brandner
Cost: $75 (all materials & botanical gardens entrance fee included)

It is finally time to get outside and paint! This class will immerse you in the art of plein air painting. Instructor Nathan Brandner will use his expertise to instruct students on the processes of working in the field: learning your equipment, selecting your composition, and working within a limited time frame.

The Green Bay Botanical Gardens offers a wonderful opportunity to paint beautifully manicured gardens and inspirational structures. This day-long workshop will focus on capturing the light and the beauty found in the gardens. Students will complete an oil painting while learning the basics of Plein Air painting.

Students must provide their own transportation to the painting location:

Green Bay Botanical Garden
2600 Larsen Rd.
Green Bay, WI 54303

Director Shannon Piette will meet students at the garden’s visitors center entrance. Once all students have arrived, we will proceed as a group to the painting location within the garden.
