Artists are always finding images to inspire future works of art. This class will focus on how to use those images and small color studies to create a finished piece of art. Artist Stephen Wysocki, known for his colorful and dynamic paintings of landscapes and animals, will be guiding students through the process or developing a composition from their source image. He will focus on punching up color and how to successfully crop unwanted or distracting elements to create interest in the finished painting. Students for this class will be working in oils; acrylic painters are welcome but must bring their own materials.
