Join us for a day of learning the building blocks of watercolor painting. Students in this class will receive step-by-step instruction in the basic techniques from Door County artist Kari Anderson. Focusing on subject matter including water, clouds, birch trees, and the Wisconsin rural landscape, students in Kari’s class will gain an understanding of the medium that will allow them to start on their watercolor painting journey. All materials are included.

Kari Anderson is a Wisconsin watercolorist who has called Door County her home since 1980. An educator with 30 years of experience, Kari has taught artists of all ages in public education, the Peninsula Art School in Fish Creek, The Clearing Folk School in Ellison Bay, and private workshops. Kari is also a knitter, fused glass artist, grandmother, and nature lover, finding creative inspiration at every turn.
