Explore the complexities of water with pastel artist Chris Behrs. Whether in the studio or en plein air, water can be an essential part of many compositions. However, water has many characteristics; Reflective, transparent, translucent, rippling, flowing, calming…and several qualities may be present in a single painting. Join Chris as he leads you through his approach and the steps in his process for realistically painting water in all its variations.

Chris Behrs is an award-winning artist and member of the Pastel Society of America. An art teacher in Cedarburg Wisconsin, he has been president and is currently a signature member of the Wisconsin Pastel Artists.
