Pet Portraits are VERY personal things! Capturing the unique personality of your pet is just as important as great texture and colors. In this class we’ll cover not just those basic animal painting techniques, but explore the best composition to convey what makes your pet so special. Bring several good snapshots of your favorite 4-legged fur-friend (or bird, lizards, gerbil…maybe not snakes: I’m not sure even I could get a fun and friendly expression on a snake). Don’t have a pet? Bring pics of your favorite wildlife! Oil paints will be provided, but you may work in any medium (you bring your own supplies if you don’t want to work in oils).
