Take to the field and learn the nuances of painting fall colors. In this class, students will venture out and paint the changing leaves en plein air. Award-winning plein air artist Nathan Brandner will teach students to control the vibrancy of the colors and find the subtle shifts that can help create a more naturalistic feel to a fall painting. This themed plein air class will help students improve their observational skills and understanding of the scene they are trying to capture.
This class will take place outside of the Richeson School of Art studio. The location will be announced to students closer to the class date. All supplies are included. There will be a break for lunch.
