Chuck Weber’s Power & Light is a series of high drama oils that celebrate figurative action sequences filled with color and light, shadow and movement. Toned canvases are double-painted first in acrylics, then in oils in the reverse colors. This singular fauve-expressionist color approach, together with blurred and skewed imagery results in high-energy originals that move and vibrate, with surprising notes of color harmony and dynamic tension bordering on abstraction.
