This is a “follow-along” class where you create a painting in a step-by-step process from a completed painting by the instructor. It’s a great way to focus on mixing color and brushwork to develop a successful painting – even if you’ve never picked up a brush before. Learn how to mix colors from a limited palette, recognize the basic shapes found in nature, and paint light and shadow.
Experiment with oil paint in a supportive, fun environment while learning how to construct a painting. This class is for beginners to more experienced painters who are looking for a refresher class painting the landscape. The completed painting will be a landscape integrating the natural elements of clouds, trees, grasses with a dirt road. Sherri will provide plenty of individual attention to put you on solid footing for your painting journey. To simplify your experience, Richeson has available painting materials for you to purchase.
