Skies, clouds, landscapes and water, well-known local instructor Lee Mothes captures it all in his work! During this 3-part class, Mothes will demonstrate color mixing, wet-on-wet washes, different brush techniques, and masking. He will share his techniques to capture skies, clouds, landscape, and water and help you with drawing and compositional techniques.
Students will learn how to simplify an image when working from a photo. The class is able to work from Mothes’ demonstrations or bring photo references of subjects you would like to paint.
This class will is suited for students at any level and will include instruction on an individual basis as the class works on subjects of their choosing. Mothes will be instructing techniques to suit any style.
