Plein Air at the Dive Park

Grab your painting gear and come out to paint at the dive park.

Join us for a splashing time at the West Point Dive Park. Located just outside of Red Granite, the park features exquisite cliff views, a private water-filled quarry and is surrounded by woods. It is also an active scuba diving site! 

Grab your painting gear and come out to paint at the dive park. Artists are responsible for bringing their own art materials. This is will not be an instructed class. Your class fee includes access to the West Point Dive Park and lunch (hamburgers, brats, hot dogs, chips, soda or water). Richeson School of Art & Gallery instructors Terry Stanley and Nathan Brandner will be on site demonstrating and available for limited critiques. 

Don’t have a plein air easel but want to give it a try? Full oil painting or watercolor painting kits are available to rent. This includes a beginner set of oil paints or watercolor paints, brushes, palette and plein air easel. The cost per rental kit is $25.00.

Artists are responsible for their own transportation to and from the West Point Dive Park. Richeson School of Art & Gallery Director Shannon Piette will meet class participants at the location on Saturday, October 6th at 10:00am.
