Let’s talk about pets… capturing that special something that makes each one a unique personality. Maybe it’s the sparkling eyes, the tongue that’s always out or how kitty lays curled up in that certain way on your favorite chair. Learn how to translate that into a painting. How to paint expressive eyes, different methods for capturing fur texture, proper anatomy basics. We’ll even cover how to take good reference photos and the value of preliminary sketching before you apply paint to canvas.
Terry will demo in oils, but participants can use oils, acrylics, watercolors or pastels. This class is appropriate for advanced beginners to professional level artists. You may bring a selection of your own reference photos or use those supplied by the instructor.
